Orders and shipping

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom only. We hope to expand to other markets soon.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days. Once dispatched, UK orders typically arrive within 3 to 10 business days. Total estimated delivery is 4 to 12 business days from the date your order is placed.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is £4.95 on orders under £50, and free on orders £50 and over.

Will I get a tracking number?

Yes. You'll receive an email with a tracking link once your order has been dispatched. Tracking typically becomes active within 24 to 48 hours.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Email us as soon as possible at hello@larakove.com with your order number. If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, we'll do our best to update or cancel it. Once dispatched, we can't make changes, but you can return unworn items within 30 days.

What if my parcel is lost or damaged?

For lost parcels, contact us within a reasonable time of the expected delivery date and we'll work with the courier to investigate. For damaged parcels, email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number, and we'll arrange a replacement at no cost. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Returns and refunds

What's your returns policy?

We offer 30-day returns on unworn items. For full details, see our Returns Policy.

How do I return an item?

Email us at hello@larakove.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return. We'll send you the return address and instructions.

Do I have to pay for return postage?

For change-of-mind returns, yes. We recommend a tracked service. For damaged or defective items, returns are free and often not needed at all (we'll let you know).

Can I exchange an item?

We don't offer direct exchanges. Return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the piece you'd prefer.

Can I return pierced earrings?

For hygiene reasons, we can't accept returns on pierced earrings (studs and hoops) once the packaging has been opened. This is in line with UK law and standard practice across the jewellery industry.

How long do refunds take?

Refunds are processed within 5 business days of us receiving your return. It may take a further 3 to 5 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

Products and materials

What is your jewellery made of?

Our range uses three materials: gold-plated stainless steel, gold-plated eco-brass, and sterling silver. The material for each piece is listed on the product page. Some pieces also use freshwater pearls.

Will it tarnish or turn my skin green?

Our stainless steel pieces are the most hard-wearing and don't tarnish or turn skin green. Eco-brass pieces have a beautiful warm gold tone and last best when kept dry and away from chemicals. With proper care, all our pieces are designed for everyday wear. See our Care guide for full details.

Is your jewellery waterproof?

Our stainless steel pieces handle water well and can be worn in the shower or rain. For eco-brass pieces, we recommend taking them off before swimming, bathing, or any prolonged water exposure to keep the finish looking new for longer.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Stainless steel and sterling silver are both hypoallergenic and suitable for most sensitive skin. Eco-brass may cause irritation for those with very sensitive skin or specific allergies. If you're unsure, start with one of our stainless steel or sterling silver pieces.

How do I care for my jewellery?

See our Care guide for full details. The short version: put on cosmetics first, take pieces off for swimming and the gym, wipe with a soft cloth after wearing, and store in the pouch they came in.

Are your pearls real?

Where we use pearls, they're freshwater pearls. The product page for each pearl piece confirms the material.

Where are you based?

Lara Kove is a UK-based brand. We're a small team focused on everyday jewellery designed to layer.

Do you have a physical store?

Not yet. We're online only at the moment.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

All Lara Kove orders arrive in a branded pouch suitable for gifting. We don't currently offer additional gift wrapping options, but our standard packaging is designed to look like a gift out of the box.
